Debra offers a safe and comfortable first meeting. Because of her years of experience, this initial appointment combines a full intake of information, pulse and tongue diagnosis and report of findings. The topics discussed include physical signs and symptoms, mental and emotional issues and current lifestyle and dietary habits. This complete evaluation is 90 minutes to two hours in length. Clients often say that this is the most pleasant and informative medical appointment that they've ever experienced. Clients leave with a written constitutional assessment, initial dietary and lifestyle recommendations and often a beginning herbal formula.
Follow-up appointments continue the process of implementing and adjusting herbs, nutrition and lifestyle recommendations to support the healing process. Tools that are used are adapted to a specific plan for the given symptoms and conditions and adjusted to the immediate needs of the client. These appointments are set three to four weeks apart for the first quarter and then adjusted to six to eight week intervals. Follow-up appointments are 50 to 60 minutes in length.
